W+K Seoul is hiring a Senior Communications Strategist to be a part of building some of the most exciting brands in the world, through meaningful communications, experiences and creativity. You’ll be part of an international and culturally-diverse team, where together we aim to create the best work of our lives. This role will be based in our recently opened Seoul Office, but is an integral part of the strategy team across Tokyo and Seoul.

Role Summary

The Senior Communications is an integral part of the strategy team across both the Tokyo and Seoul office, as they are the owner of critical communications planning outputs such as engagement/connections frameworks, campaign ecosystems, consumer journeys and annual comms plans, not just across paid media integrated across paid, owned and earned channels.    

The Senior Communications Strategist provides leadership, guidance and support within the realm of superior channel thinking, with the aim of making creative ideas all the more effective for the brands we work on. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and support junior team members to make their work stronger, setting the bar for creative excellence. 
  • Own key communications strategy deliverables: audience journeys, campaign ecosystems, engagement frameworks, moments strategies and tactical briefs.
  • Utilize rigorous research, data +analytics tools to help plan effective communications strategies and also report on their ongoing success. 
  • Closely collaborate with internal W+K teams (creative, brand management etc), helping the teams build the work for more effective outcomes. 
  • Own external relationships and be the key day-to-day contact for not only our clients, but other IAT partners such as media and PR agencies.
  • Provide the agency with up to minute insight on key channel trends and opportunities. 


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Strategy, Media, Advertising, Journalism or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy or communications strategy or similar experience.
  • A proven record in making ideas more impactful through media and PR thinking.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communications in English skills required (Korean or Japanese language proficiency is a wonderful plus). 
  • Ability to confidently sell inspiring communications ideas to clients and work on multiple concurrent projects with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in having direct reports.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or with a creative agency and creative teams.
  • Experience in working within the Asia Pacific market or across global brands and global campaigns.

선임 커뮤니케이션 전략가는 크리에이티브 아이디어가 브랜드에 더욱 효과적으로 작용할 수 있도록 우수한 채널 사고의 영역 내에서 리더십, 지침 및 지원을 제공합니다. 

주요 업무

주니어 팀원들을 이끌고, 멘토링하고, 지원하여 그들의 업무 역량을 강화하여 크리에이티브 우수성을 위한 기준을 설정합니다. 

고객 여정, 캠페인 에코시스템, 참여 프레임워크, 모멘트 전략, 전술 브리핑 등 주요 커뮤니케이션 전략 결과물을 직접 작성합니다.

엄격한 리서치, 데이터 + 분석 도구를 활용하여 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 전략을 계획하고 지속적인 성공에 대해 보고합니다. 

내부 W+K 팀(크리에이티브, 브랜드 관리 등)과 긴밀히 협업하여 팀이 보다 효과적인 결과를 도출할 수 있도록 지원합니다. 

외부 관계를 관리하고 고객뿐만 아니라 미디어 및 PR 에이전시와 같은 다른 IAT 파트너의 일상적인 주요 연락 담당자가 됩니다.

자격 요건

기본 자격 요건

비즈니스, 전략, 미디어, 광고, 저널리즘 또는 관련 분야의 학사 학위 이상.

전략 또는 커뮤니케이션 전략 또는 이와 유사한 분야에서 최소 5년 이상의 경력.

미디어 및 PR 사고를 통해 아이디어를 더욱 영향력 있게 만들어본 경험.

탁월한 영어 작문 및 구두 커뮤니케이션 능력 필수 (한국어 또는 일본어 능력은 큰 장점). 

영감을 주는 커뮤니케이션 아이디어를 고객에게 자신 있게 제안하고 최소한의 감독 하에 여러 프로젝트를 동시에 진행할 수 있는 능력.

직접 프레젠테이션 및 보고를 할 수 있는 능력.

Wieden + Kennedy is an international independent, creatively led advertising agency that exists to create strong and provocative relationships between good companies and their consumers. The key strength of the agency is brand building – finding the cultural truths about, or intersections between product, consumer and business.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable. As an integral part of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Accounts Payable will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

●      Invoice Processing: Review and enter vendor invoices with proper authorization and coding.

●      Payment Processing: Process payments to vendors, consultants, and contractors.

●      Expense Processing: Review and process employee expense reports with proper documentation.

●      Vendor Management: Maintain positive relationships with vendors and address inquiries.

●      Reconciliation: Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

●      Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.

●      Fixed Asset Management: Support the maintenance of the fixed asset register, recording asset acquisitions, disposals accurately.

●      Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving accounts payable processes.

●      Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies, accounting principles, and regulations.

●      System training: Lead expense, vendor purchase order and other relevant training for staff.

 Requirements:

●      2-5 years related work experience, preferably in the advertising/marketing sector

●      Strong verbal and written Japanese and English communication skills and ability to convey your pov confidently to all levels

●      Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in an advertising agency or similar industry.

●      Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

●      Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.

●      Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial data.

●      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

●      Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

●      Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.

●      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant software applications.
